When in doubt, verify the selection with non-destructive console commands:
To deselect your target, simply click on it again and it will disappear from the header. Now you can enter any targeted command without needing to enter a target as the console will automatically preface it with your selected ID.

Targeted commands will require a reference as target usually entered before the actual command, as noted by the separating dot in between.
Fallout 4 does not require turning off an Xbox/PS Controller if you are using one, to use the console. Increasing the iConsoleTextXPos variable will move the prompt further right into the field of view. If the left side of the console is not visible, one may need to edit the Fallout4_Default.ini file in the installation folder. While the console is open, the game will pause and the camera will freeze. The HUD will disappear and you will get a prompt (- |) in the lower-left corner of the screen where you can input commands as listed below (The console will also remember any previously entered commands, which you can scroll through with the Up and Down Arrow keys). In order to access the console, you will need to use the key appropriate for your language (as shown in the list of console keys). After restarting Fallout 4 pressing the equivalent button from above will open the console.

Should this for some reason not work, you can always set your keyboard's language layout to US in the Windows control panel.
Thanks to modder Henkspamadres, all of that Naruto-running and acquired notoriety wasn’t for naught. You thought we’d left Area 51 empty-handed? Well, think again.

You just need to look somewhere else.Īllow me to walk you through some of the best armament options with these awesome (and free!) weapon mods you can add onto Fallout 4. Thanks to modding your search for the perfect weapon never needs to end. I mean it was enough to take on the entire Institute and the occasional deathclaw, but what if there’s more? Still, even after entire playthroughs of Fallout 4 some people are never satisfied with their arsenal. There would be no apocalypse without weapons, and the world would have been rebuilt by now had we focused our resources on something else. And there’s only one thing in your mind other than the fate of your kidnapped son:īecause what is a post-apocalyptic Wasteland without its weapons? Isn’t it the entire point? You’re the Sole Survivor of your malfunctioning nuke-proof vault, crawling out of the underground and into the deserted Wasteland that is the Commonwealth.
